Abstracts submission guidelines

1. RULES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

• Authors must register on www.ifscc2019.com/registrati.aspx after registration the author will receive an e-mail to access the private area;

• Authors are required to indicate their preference for either ORAL or POSTER or both presentantion by checking the appropriate box on the submission web page. The IFSCC 2019 Scientific Committee will make the final decision on the format of presentation (i.e. oral or poster);

• Acceptance or rejection of abstracts will be sent to the corresponding author. The Committee decision is final and cannot be appealed;

• Abstracts cannot be identical to any abstract that has previoulsy been presented at a major international meeting prior to the IFSCC 2019. An update to prior study is acceptable;

• Instructions on the preparation of posters and information about projection facilities will be included with the notification of acceptance;

• All accepted abstracts will be published electronically on the website;

• The first author agrees to register, to attend the Conference, and to present the paper as scheduled in the Conference Program. The author must register for the IFSCC Conference by 15th June 2019. If the authors fail to register the presentation will be deleted from the final programme.

• Neither the Scientific Committee nor the IFSCC can guarantee the correctness of the data and information given at the time of presentation by the author and/or speaker. The authors opinion should not be considered to be that of the IFSCC.


2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION

a. Abstracts must be written in English;
b. Title: use a concise descriptive title that indicates the content of the abstract. Please minimize the use of abbreviations in the title. Commercial trade names for ingredients, devices, products, and services must NOT be used in the title;
c. Paper/poster presenter: indicate with n. 1 in the order, the full name, the surname and the e-mail address must be provided;
d. Co-Authors: use the “add author” button to indicate the other authors with the initial letter of the name(s) and the full surname. Do not use title.
e. Affiliations: each author should be identify by the company/university ownership
f. The body of the abstracts text should not exceed 4000 characters;
These abstracts may include:
- Introduction: stating the purpose of aim of the paper;
- Materials and Methods used;
- Results obtained;
- Discussion and Conclusions

It is NOT satisfactory to simply state “The results will be discussed”. Only common and standard abbreviations may be used without definition. TABLES and graphs cannot be included in the abstract.

3. ABSTRACT TOPICS

4. DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Last date for abstract submission is 31st JANUARY 2019

5. DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTANCE COMMUNICATION
The Scientific Committee will send an e-mail to the authors by the 30th APRIL 2019
